Role Overview
Marriott Executive Apartments is seeking a Guest Experience Expert dedicated to not just managing guest check-in and check-out processes but creating memorable and unique experiences for each guest. This role involves a wide variety of tasks including guiding guests throughout their stay, responding to their requests, processing operational needs, compiling reports, sharing local highlights, and assisting with luggage handling.
Key Responsibilities
The Guest Experience Expert takes initiative to deliver exceptional guest services, moving freely within their workspace to fulfill various duties. Responsibilities include assisting guests with loading and unloading vehicles, transporting luggage to guest rooms or designated bell areas, and ensuring that every interaction contributes positively to the guest experience. The role demands adherence to company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting assets, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position requires being on one’s feet for extended periods, including standing, sitting, and walking. The role also involves navigating narrow or confined spaces, stairs, and service ramps. Physically, the job requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance. The employee must also be able to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or a G.E.D. equivalent, paired with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
