Role Overview
We are seeking a Growth Product Manager to spearhead the strategic planning and execution of Ritual’s Growth Squad—a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and marketers focused on acquiring new customers. This role entails overseeing the entire customer journey from advertisement through landing pages to checkout, treating these elements as a unified product rather than isolated components.
You will pioneer the development of a product-led growth approach within Ritual, directly influencing how marketing efforts translate into measurable business outcomes such as conversion rates, initial order values, and acquisition efficiency. Collaborating closely with Performance Marketing teams across platforms like Meta, Google, and Affiliate, as well as Engineering and Design, you will align campaign performance with product optimizations and checkout decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy that connects customer acquisition with conversion, diagnosing funnel bottlenecks and prioritizing solutions that promise significant impact.
- Serve as the operational leader for the Growth Squad by translating growth targets into a prioritized testing roadmap and managing the workflow of a diverse team to achieve objectives.
- Leverage Shopify and AI technologies to increase testing velocity, independently launching and validating experiments without reliance on other teams.
- Constantly evaluate the Shopify app ecosystem to propose growth tools and integrations that deliver substantive speed advantages.
- Work in partnership with Performance Marketing, Engineering, and Design to convert advertising data into actionable product enhancements, fostering sufficient trust for autonomous team decision-making.
- Hold accountability for acquisition efficiency by managing metrics like customer acquisition cost, conversion rate, and order value, using insights to continuously refine priorities.
- Manage the testing roadmap proactively as a structured program considering constraints such as creative timelines, engineering bandwidth, and seasonal factors, while documenting learnings to benefit the wider team.

- Analytical thinker capable of clarifying complex funnel issues spanning ads, landing pages, and checkout, converting them into targeted and actionable plans.
- Results-driven owner who takes complete responsibility for funnel outcomes, communicates progress transparently, and proactively addresses potential risks.
- Collaborative innovator who partners closely with marketing and engineering teams to enable rapid progress with minimal oversight.
- Adopts an experimental mindset that values speed in testing, swiftly discontinuing underperforming tests and scaling successful ones.
- Aligns optimizations with the broader mission of helping women find genuinely suitable products, maintaining high standards despite pressures for speed.
- Strong operational skills including project management, organizational discipline, and clear communication to keep testing efforts coordinated and on schedule.
Essential Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of product management experience, preferably owning growth or conversion funnels at direct-to-consumer brands, ideally within health and wellness, with proven ability to manage a structured roadmap and team cadence.
- Deep, hands-on expertise using Shopify and its ecosystem of applications to execute and recommend impactful testing strategies.
- Proven success running high-velocity testing initiatives that manage priorities and resources effectively, resulting in tangible improvements to conversion or cost metrics.
- Practical understanding of paid digital advertising, especially Meta platforms, and how these connect to landing page and checkout performance to influence product decisions.
- Active, applied experience using AI tools to enhance test scoping, analysis, or execution beyond theoretical knowledge.
- A strong track record of earning trust from cross-disciplinary teams, enabling autonomous decision-making within the growth squad.
Compensation
- Salary range: $131,750 to $165,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
