Overview
The Group Sales Account Executive plays a crucial role in generating revenue through the sales, servicing, and renewal of a varied portfolio encompassing youth groups, basketball organizations, community entities, educational institutions, alumni associations, and corporate clients. This position emphasizes fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional experiences for all group clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell group ticket packages and exclusive on-court experiences such as Primetimes, Kids Tunnels, and Anthem Buddies.
- Increase revenue by marketing single-game premium suite rentals not only for Celtics and Bruins games but also for concerts and other arena events.
- Meet and exceed designated revenue targets, sales objectives, and productivity benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for referrals, renewals, and upselling within assigned client accounts.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with clients while keeping detailed and accurate records in Salesforce and Archtics systems.
- Deliver attentive, proactive service that strengthens client loyalty and transforms one-time buyers into annual repeat customers.
- Assist clients with account management needs such as mobile ticketing, event logistics, waiver processing, arrival guidance, and credential arrangements.
- Craft memorable client experiences by organizing activities and assets before, during, and after games, including non-game days.
- Drive new business development through strategic prospecting methods including internet research, curated lead lists, ZoomInfo, and other sales intelligence tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree accompanied by relevant work experience.
- Minimum of one year in ticket sales, sales, customer service, or a similar client-facing position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated customer service expertise with sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, positive, and proactive attitude focused on achieving both personal and team sales targets.
- Availability to work flexible and non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.38 to $16.35, complemented by a potential annual commission up to $30,000. Salary and commission depend on various factors including experience, tenure, performance, and company considerations.
