Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations to deliver timely, safe, and efficient courier services.
• Track and ensure compliance with DHL’s operational policies and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly to avoid service interruptions.
• Maintain strong communications and relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee fleet equipment maintenance proactively to ensure operational readiness.
• Ensure all safety, security, and transport regulations are strictly followed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the ground operations team, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.

Requirements

• Proficient English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Valid and current driving license.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday and some weekends, within 6 AM to 6 PM shifts.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the industry.
• Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
• Possession of a relevant and valid work visa for applicants outside New Zealand.
