Graduate Management Training Programme Overview

As a Graduate Management Trainee, you’ll be empowered and supported to unlock your leadership capabilities with the potential to become a branch manager within two years. This role has served as the launching pad for many senior leaders including the current CEO.

From the start, you will be placed in an environment offering meaningful responsibilities and hands-on involvement across several critical business functions, including customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

The company recognizes and rewards diligent work through performance incentives and offers ample advancement opportunities within its promote-from-within culture.

The training approach integrates classroom learning, practical on-the-job experiences, and mentorship, ensuring continuous personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by managing reservations, addressing inquiries, and fostering relationships with a wide variety of customers.
  • Engage in sales and marketing activities by networking with local business partners and nurturing ongoing collaborations.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of financial management, including cost control and analyzing profit and loss statements.
  • Handle operations and logistics by overseeing fleet management, strategic planning, and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Lead and develop team members by providing mentorship, training, and promoting leadership within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though relevant professional experience may be considered as an alternative.
  • A valid full manual driving license from the Republic of Ireland, UK, or EU is required; applicants with disabilities that prevent driving will be accommodated.
  • No drug or alcohol-related driving offenses within the past five years are permitted on the applicant’s driving record.

Additional Information

  • This role does not qualify for employment permit sponsorship under current regulations.
  • Candidate evaluations focus strictly on competencies and performance, regardless of socio-economic background, educational institution, field of study, or degree type.
  • Applicants are encouraged to disclose any accommodations required during the recruitment process.
  • Applicants should submit only one application aligned with their residential location or intended work location as multiple applications may delay processing.
  • Applications for this position are accepted solely for the Galway location.
