Graduate Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in critical meetings and design reviews to track progress, collaboratively resolve issues, and effectively communicate impacts to partners.
• Engage in site inspections alongside the General Contractor, Cost Manager, and client project managers to evaluate progress and identify potential cost implications.
• Consolidate project data to prepare comprehensive estimates, as well as ad-hoc cost reports and analyses.
• Accurately maintain project change management logs with close attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the wider Cost Management team to deliver on complex client requests.
• Oversee the financial close-out of all projects, including finalizing settlements with vendors.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree or equivalent experience in construction cost management.
• Chartered status or actively working towards it (support provided).
• Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract cost management across diverse projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing your own priorities and deadlines.
• A passion for fostering strong relationships within your team and with clients, underpinned by openness and a positive work atmosphere.
