Job Overview

Join Farrans Construction as a Graduate Civil Engineer where you will work alongside experienced professionals to enhance project cost-effectiveness and manage risks while ensuring high quality and adherence to building regulations. This role includes engaging travel to various construction sites and project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting surveys and establishing site set-outs accurately.
• Creating drawings and performing calculations to maintain quality control and compliance with engineering standards.
• Tracking construction progress to ensure schedule adherence.
• Collaborating with clients and performing site investigations to support project objectives.
• Coordinating efforts among engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for project compliance.
• Consulting with quantity surveyors regarding material orders and pricing.
• Upholding health, safety, sustainability policies and relevant legislation on site.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree, HNC or HND in Engineering or Construction discipline.
• Hold a valid full UK manual driving license.
• Show enthusiasm for launching a career in civils and construction sectors.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail along with strong planning and organizational capabilities.
• Exhibit keen interest across various engineering aspects and desire a dynamic working environment that fosters career growth.
