Job Overview
Join Farrans Construction as a Graduate Civil Engineer where you will work alongside experienced professionals to enhance project cost-effectiveness and manage risks while ensuring high quality and adherence to building regulations. This role includes engaging travel to various construction sites and project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting surveys and establishing site set-outs accurately.
- Creating drawings and performing calculations to maintain quality control and compliance with engineering standards.
- Tracking construction progress to ensure schedule adherence.
- Collaborating with clients and performing site investigations to support project objectives.
- Coordinating efforts among engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for project compliance.
- Consulting with quantity surveyors regarding material orders and pricing.
- Upholding health, safety, sustainability policies and relevant legislation on site.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree, HNC or HND in Engineering or Construction discipline.
- Hold a valid full UK manual driving license.
- Show enthusiasm for launching a career in civils and construction sectors.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail along with strong planning and organizational capabilities.
- Exhibit keen interest across various engineering aspects and desire a dynamic working environment that fosters career growth.
- Have excellent communication skills, willingness to be flexible in teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
