Description de l'emploi
About the company
Bezos.ai operates a Fulfilment-as-a-Service platform for online merchants. Sellers link channels such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, and the system manages order routing across a worldwide network of warehouse and delivery partners, tracks parcels end-to-end, and gives one unified view of the supply chain. The team is small, moves quickly, and is built around AI from the ground up. Operations sits at the center of the business, offering direct exposure to how a modern logistics platform runs and real ownership from the outset.
Role overview
The business operations associate will act as a reliable core member of the operations function. The role focuses on keeping orders moving, identifying and fixing stalled or missing orders, handling seller and partner queries, running operational checks, and helping create AI-powered skills and automations that remove repetitive work. Over time, the role is designed to build strong end-to-end understanding of the order lifecycle and increasing independence in solving problems.
What you will do
- Carry out daily checks across systems to identify missing, delayed, or mismatched orders, then resolve issues or escalate them when needed.
- Manage operational support tickets, run internal checkers, and prepare and send invoices accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Use Claude to build practical skills and automations that reduce manual work, beginning with the recruitment exercise and expanding from there.
- Look for small but meaningful improvements in the tools and workflows used each day and help implement them.
First 90 days
- Complete the daily reconciliation process consistently and clear order exceptions from your queue.
- Respond to operational tickets within SLA and run the Bezos checkers without supervision.
- Create your first working Claude skill or small automation that saves time for the team.
- Deliver accurate work on a team project and begin handling open-ended tasks with less support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong numerical and analytical mindset, be comfortable working with raw data and spreadsheets, and have a degree or equivalent evidence of ability in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a highly numerical economics, finance, or quantitative social science track. You should already use AI tools like Claude in your day-to-day work and be able to build a simple, functioning Claude skill; during the hiring process, you will need to demonstrate that you can build one. Prior experience with skills or agents is a plus, but not essential.
The team is looking for someone dependable and easy to coach, who completes assigned work on time, produces clean output, asks questions when unsure instead of guessing, and responds well to feedback. You should be a fast learner who can pick up tools and processes quickly, enjoy ambiguity and fast pace, and want broad responsibility rather than a narrow remit. Clear written communication is also important, including the ability to present simple findings and raise issues early.
Nice to have
- Previous internships or part-time experience in consulting, banking, operations, analytics, e-commerce, or startup environments.
- Basic coding ability in Python or SQL, or experience with no-code tools such as Make, Zapier, Retool, or Airtable.
- Experience building your own Claude skill, automation, or agent.
Benefits
- Daily hands-on work in an AI-native environment using tools such as Claude, Retool, and Make, with room to automate your own work.
- Opportunity to help shape the role in a fast-growing company that is helping define the future of e-commerce.
- An entrepreneurial, fast-moving, results-driven, disciplined, collaborative, and team-oriented culture.
- Strong scope for growth, learning, and meaningful impact.
- The team works remotely full time, with in-person meetups a couple of times each month.
- 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Mental health support via Spill and a free Headspace subscription.
