Role Overview
Apple Retail integrates expertise to assist customers in pursuing their passions, offering a unique Apple experience. As a Genius, you will combine deep troubleshooting skills with enthusiasm for Apple's products and services, delivering exceptional customer support and empowering users to maximize their Apple devices. This role involves educating customers on repair options and Apple offerings, performing repairs on products serviced in-store, and maintaining the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair procedures ensuring efficient, high-quality repairs.
- Provide empathetic support to customers facing Apple product or software issues by utilizing all Apple tools and resources.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve hardware and software service challenges.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding customer needs, proposing ownership options, recommending products and services, and educating customers on purchase options.
- Collaborate with team leaders to detect recurring repair issues or service concerns and relay feedback to Apple.
- Leverage extensive technical knowledge to pinpoint sources of technical problems and mentor team members accordingly.
- Act as a mentor and positive role model within the Genius Bar team.
- Assist leadership in addressing customer escalations promptly.
- Undertake additional duties, including supporting customer interactions on or off the sales floor.
- Promote an inclusive environment by embracing diversity and encouraging continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications
- Availability to work a schedule aligned with business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, adhering to local laws and approved accommodations.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or related roles.
- Ability to visually inspect hardware and possess the fine motor skills required to safely perform repairs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues within a customer service context.
- Fluency in the local language, both written and spoken.
