General Manager

Role Overview

This is a General Manager position based in Mullingar, County Westmeath. The role will have oversight of branches across the group, including operations in Dublin, Cork, and Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for profit and loss across multiple companies, including forecasting and the allocation of capital.
• Put consistent operating procedures in place, maintain pricing control, and improve service delivery standards.
• Drive the sales plan, with a strong emphasis on recurring revenue streams.
• Develop and manage important client, supplier, and stakeholder relationships at the level expected of the platform.
• Maintain full compliance with safety, security, and AHJ requirements across all locations.
• Promote and strengthen a strong HSEQ-focused culture.
• Spot, assess, and bring in acquisitions within the detection and security sector.

Essential Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading a multi-site or group operation at General Manager level or an equivalent senior position.
• Proven responsibility for P&L management on a significant scale.
• Clear experience in building, guiding, and holding a senior leadership team accountable.
• Background in M&A integration and management of major B2B accounts.

Preferred Background

• A degree in business, engineering, or a closely related field is desirable.
• Experience with Lean or other operational excellence methods is an advantage.
• Exposure to running a digital operating platform across multiple businesses would be beneficial.
• Previous work in fire, safety, or security industries is preferred.
