Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic Fundraising & Donor Relations Officer to spearhead our resource mobilization initiatives. This person will be integral in obtaining funds, cultivating relationships with donors and CSR partners, and promoting sustainable financial growth for our foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and connect with prospective donors such as individuals, institutional funders, CSR collaborators, and grant bodies.
- Develop persuasive fundraising proposals, presentations, and reports demonstrating impact.
- Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with current donors via consistent communication and updates.
- Organize and oversee online fundraising activities and donation drives.
- Manage a donor database to monitor pledges, payments, and communication records.
- Collaborate with program and communication teams to create donor-focused success stories and related content.
- Represent the foundation at fundraising events, CSR meetings, and industry gatherings.
- Monitor donor trends, funding periods, and suitable grant opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Development Studies, Communications, Social Work, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications in fundraising, CSR, or NGO management are advantageous.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, or CSR.
- Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, donor relations, or CSR preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a regional language, both verbal and written.
- Strong storytelling and proposal writing capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital fundraising platforms.
- Personable and persuasive with a focus on building relationships.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and dedication to creating social impact.
