Job Overview

Jovie is looking to hire compassionate and experienced full-time and part-time nannies to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers in Newcastle, WA and the surrounding Seattle area. Responsibilities

• Offer safe, nurturing, and attentive care to infants and toddlers
• Support children’s feeding schedules, nap times, and daily routines
• Foster learning and development through reading, playtime, and age-appropriate activities
• Maintain effective communication with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
• Create a positive and encouraging environment conducive to child growth and learning

Working Hours

• Availability primarily Monday through Friday is preferred
• The majority of shifts take place between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Typical shifts last between 6 to 9 hours
• Assignments are with vetted local families

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience caring for infants
• Genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers
• Dependability and professionalism in childcare settings
• Strong communication skills to interact with children and parents effectively
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• References including a minimum of two childcare-related and one character reference
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Experience gained from various childcare roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, or church nursery settings are all welcomed
