Full-Time Hostel Warden (Lady/Gents)

Position Summary

We are looking for committed and responsible full-time Hostel Wardens (Lady Warden for Girls' Hostel and Gents Warden for Boys' Hostel) to be based onsite at our Gandhinagar campus, Gujarat. This residential role involves managing daily operations of the hostel while ensuring a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment for the residents.

Key Duties

• Maintain resident attendance and enforce discipline, curfews, and regulations within the hostel.
• Handle resident issues, disputes, and personal matters with empathy and confidentiality.
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Coordinate stringent security measures with guards at entry/exit points.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies including organizing first aid and hospital visits.
• Keep up-to-date emergency contact information for residents and guardians.
• Supervise maintenance of facilities including water, electricity, cleanliness, and repairs.
• Work with service personnel such as electricians and plumbers to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Oversee the hostel mess to maintain clean and quality meals.
• Maintain detailed logs of student information, visitors, inventory, and maintenance requests.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Language skills: Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi is highly desirable; basic English communication skills advantageous.
• Experience in hostel management, supervision, administration, or similar fields preferred but fresh candidates with strong leadership abilities are welcome.
• Familiarity with office software such as MS Excel and Word for record keeping.
• Personal qualities: vigilant, approachable, firm yet compassionate, and dependable.
• Availability to reside full-time in furnished campus accommodation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 depending on experience.
• Free furnished private accommodation on campus with utilities included.
• Complimentary daily meals served in the hostel mess (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
