Key accountabilities

• Review marketplace activity to spot suspicious behavior and reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions.
• Examine data to uncover fraud trends, new threats, and likely attack tactics.
• Handle escalated fraud incidents and advise on the most suitable response based on risk findings.
• Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to strengthen fraud detection and prevention capabilities.
• Build and update dashboards, reports, and alerting tools that support continuous monitoring.
• Help define fraud prevention policies, procedures, and day-to-day operational standards.
• Identify weak points and suggest practical improvements that enhance trust and platform security.

What we are looking for

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, trust and safety, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace settings.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with comfort interpreting data and drawing useful conclusions.
• Exposure to fraud monitoring tools, anomaly detection approaches, or rule-based risk frameworks.
• Careful attention to detail and a proactive mindset when identifying and resolving threats.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including product, data, and engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Good English level is required; stronger proficiency is preferred because the working language is international.
