Description de l'emploi
About the Company
Mochi Health is working to repair the first broken step in healthcare: helping patients identify the right care, understand pricing in advance, and access the medicines they need. The company is building an AI-powered marketplace that improves healthcare discovery by connecting people with suitable providers, clearer pharmacy pricing, and more affordable medications.
Over the last few years, the business has expanded quickly by combining clinical expertise with technology designed for real patients, not just traditional healthcare systems. Its platform aims to bring more transparency, continuity, and long-term access to medical information and treatment.
Team members join a group focused on ambitious ideas, inclusive teamwork, and creating meaningful impact. The environment is suited to people who want to contribute to one of the most consequential missions in their careers.
Role Summary
This is the company’s first dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis hire. In this foundational position, you will help shape the organization’s financial story, build core finance processes, maintain dependable reporting, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
- Build detailed three-statement financial models for both near-term and longer-term planning.
- Set up and monitor financial KPIs and other business metrics, then convert performance data into actions that improve accountability and outcomes.
- Design resource-allocation approaches in a changing environment where information may be limited or incomplete.
- Analyze data to influence decisions and uncover meaningful business insights.
- Work closely with teams across the business as a financial partner, aligning functional plans with company-wide financial goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing on growth and go-to-market planning while owning revenue forecasting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline, or comparable practical experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Hands-on experience across the full FP&A cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
- Strong Excel modeling skills and working knowledge of SQL.
- Clear and effective communication skills for working with a broad set of stakeholders.
Perks and Benefits
- Daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays, plus an on-site barista serving espresso and matcha throughout the day.
- Pre-tax commuter benefits to help reduce transit and parking costs.
- Competitive compensation with substantial equity participation.
- A profitable, fast-scaling business with a long-term, disciplined approach.
- High-impact work that contributes directly to improving healthcare access and outcomes.
- Exposure to a strong team with experience from companies and institutions such as Tesla, SpaceX, Citadel, Harvard, and IIT.
- 401(k) with employer match, generous time off, life insurance, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- The company covers the monthly Mochi Health membership fee for employees, excluding medications.
- Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and flexibility to take time off when needed.
- Wellness offerings such as mindfulness sessions, group workouts, and fitness-related perks.
- Regular social events, happy hours, and community activities, along with a stocked kitchen.
- Office in downtown San Francisco near BART, Muni, and nearby food options.
