Position Overview

As a Funding Manager (m/w/d), you will play a vital role in our funding team, focusing on acquiring third-party funds for the development of innovative products, processes, and services on behalf of our clients. You will engage with diverse and stimulating projects in close collaboration with our customers. Remote work is available only after the probation period and requires prior agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify innovative projects, including on-site visits at client locations when necessary.
• Conduct research and analyze market, competition, and the current state of technologies.
• Develop project proposals and funding applications covering technical, organizational, and financial aspects.
• Prepare funding drawdowns, as well as interim and final reports.
• Maintain close communication with clients throughout the process.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably a university degree in natural sciences, business informatics, or (industrial) engineering.
• Strong affinity for technical and digital innovations, with an understanding of common technologies, artificial intelligence, and market trends.
• Initial experience with agile project management is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and coordination skills for teamwork.
• Goal-driven, self-reliant work style and ability to quickly grasp new topics.
• Fluent negotiation-level proficiency in both German and English languages.
