Role Overview

The Food Packer position at PrepHero is a full-time role located in Dubai. The primary responsibility is to accurately portion and package meals following established recipes, nutritional requirements, and portion sizes. It is essential to ensure that each packaged meal aligns with both the daily production schedule and customer order specifics.

Key Duties

• Portion and package meals carefully according to guidelines and recipes.
• Label and seal containers, verifying packaging accuracy and quality.
• Organize completed meal orders in preparation for delivery dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the work area.
• Comply with food safety and handling protocols at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and logistics teams to meet production deadlines.
• Monitor stock levels of packaging materials and report shortages or problems.
• Support the efficiency of the meal preparation workflow.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow detailed instructions, recipes, and portioning standards with a keen focus on quality.
• Experience in food handling or packaging with a solid understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Capability to stand for long periods, lift and move boxes or trays, and perform well in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple orders and maintain orderly workstations.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills necessary for label reading and order verification.
• Commitment to working on-site in Dubai and adhering strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
