Food Counter Attendant

Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time position for a Food Counter Attendant located in Slave Lake, Alberta. The work language is English and the job requires approximately 30 hours per week. No formal educational certification is needed, and training will be provided for the right candidate.

Primary Duties

• Maintain accurate records of food quantity usage.
• Package food items for take-out orders.
• Portion and wrap foods according to standards.
• Prepare, heat, and complete simple food items.
• Serve customers at the counter or buffet areas with professionalism.
• Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
• Take customer orders efficiently and courteously.
• Operate manual and electrical kitchen equipment to clean, peel, slice, and trim ingredients.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced work setting demanding stamina.
• Handling heavy items during shifts.
• Standing for long periods is typical.
