Job Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Financial Modeller to join our Finance team. This role supports the Senior Financial Analyst by contributing to forecasting, budgeting, feasibility studies, presentations, financial review, and business planning activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support financial forecasting, reporting, monitoring operational metrics, analyzing financial data, and developing financial models to aid decision-making.
- Examine past financial performance, conduct variance analyses, spot trends, and suggest actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting and provide monthly financial reports for leadership and shareholder evaluations under the guidance of the Senior Financial Analyst.
- Assess financial results by comparing actuals to plans and forecasts.
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, and incurred costs, delivering routine variance analyses and insights.
- Advise on process enhancements, including the development of standardized and custom reports, tools, Excel dashboards, and support automation applied to reporting and forecasting solutions.
- Manage generation and distribution of internal financial reports and consolidate cross-functional reports.
- Propose templates for more sophisticated reports aligned with industry best practices tailored to organizational needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in financial modeling and analysis.
- Expertise in financial modeling, with advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint; strong quantitative and analytical mindset.
- Background in cost analysis, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), quantity surveying, or cost control, ideally within real estate or construction sectors.
- Proactive, with strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills; capable of working autonomously, managing uncertainty, and engaging effectively with senior leadership.
