About the Role
This role seeks experienced Corporate Finance professionals specializing in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, and valuation areas. This opportunity is a freelance, remote contract engagement with a compensation range of $100 to $125 per hour. Candidates should be prepared to commit to at least 10 hours weekly, preferably between 15 to 20 hours, depending on interest and availability. The position requires immediate start along with a rapid 24-hour onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform practical corporate finance functions into organized, task-based workflows suitable for AI systems.
- Assess AI-generated financial outputs for accuracy, logical consistency, and business applicability.
- Engage in use cases involving financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and performance analytics.
- Detect gaps, unusual cases, and breakdowns in the models' performance.
- Create thorough documentation of assumptions, financial rationale, and decision processes.
- Deliver structured feedback to enhance AI effectiveness and output quality.
Qualifications
- At least five years of professional work in corporate finance, FP&A, investment analysis, or consulting.
- Current, hands-on experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques (such as discounted cash flow and comparable company analysis), budgeting, or forecasting.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, key business drivers, and frameworks for decision-making.
- Highly detail-focused, capable of evaluating complex financial situations.
- Able to work independently in a demanding and fast-moving remote work environment.
Work Environment and Expectations
- Work will mainly be asynchronous, providing scheduling flexibility.
- Meetings are minimal and mostly optional office hours.
- Collaboration and task tracking take place via Slack and proprietary platforms.
- Successful candidates must complete onboarding and begin communication within 24 hours of receiving the offer.
