Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Financial Accounting Assistant Manager to support our client’s finance team in Dubai. This role centers on managing accounting activities, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting rules and regulations, and strengthening the company’s financial reporting, internal controls, and governance practices.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- A professional accounting credential such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or ACA.
- Between 5 and 8 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting.
- Background in Manufacturing, the Cable sector, or experience gained with a Big Four accounting firm is preferred.
- Strong command of financial policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
- Good grasp of IFRS and established accounting standards and practices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms.
- Ability to work autonomously in an ERP setting, with SAP experience preferred.
