About the Company
Indus Towers Limited is a major telecom infrastructure provider in India, delivering passive network infrastructure services to mobile operators and other wireless service providers. Role Overview
This field-based position focuses on ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of telecom tower sites in the assigned area. The role is aimed at maintaining high uptime while also improving cost control and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee safe and efficient operation and maintenance of tower sites within the designated region.
- Support high site availability by managing uptime performance and addressing operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with ESH standards, site quality norms, and process requirements.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders for effective site management.
- Monitor and improve energy usage across sites.
- Handle team-related coordination and supervision as part of site operations.
Technical Expectations
- Strong understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts is essential.
- Working knowledge of DG sets, AC power systems, DC power systems, battery backup setups, HVAC systems, antenna systems, and the fundamentals of GSM/CDMA networks will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is intended for candidates with a B.E. or B.Tech background in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electrical Engineering. As this is a field position, applicants must have their own two-wheeler and a valid driving license. A minimum of 2 years of experience in telecom infrastructure is required.
