Factory Supervisor

Position Overview

The Factory Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing production activities, managing inventory, supervising floor staff, ensuring quality and compliance, and handling basic administrative tasks within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production batch plans to fulfill demand objectives efficiently.
• Streamline production processes to reduce idle time and increase operational effectiveness.
• Verify quality of finished products before they proceed to packaging stages.
• Perform regular physical audits of raw and packing materials stocks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep updated records of inventory either manually or digitally, tracking stock levels closely.
• Place timely purchase orders to suppliers to avoid production delays caused by material shortages.
• Inspect incoming shipments thoroughly to confirm quantities and quality meet expectations.
• Lead, motivate, and organize factory floor staff and laborers effectively.
• Coordinate daily task assignments, manage shift rosters, and supervise worker performance.
• Uphold strict factory safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Address workplace issues such as conflicts or staffing gaps promptly and professionally.
• Oversee petty cash and document daily operational expenditures related to factory activities.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and delivery notes for administrative purposes.
• Compile weekly or monthly reports detailing production outputs, material consumption, and expenses for management.
• Ensure thorough documentation for each batch processed, complying with FDA regulations.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹45,000.
