Role summary
This full-time, on-site position is based in Plymouth and involves speaking directly with members of the public to represent charity partners. The main purpose of the job is to explain each charity’s work clearly, create interest, and encourage people to become ongoing donors. The role requires a professional, confident presence and a genuine commitment to ethical fundraising.
What you will do
- Approach potential supporters in residential areas and at events.
- Deliver persuasive, accurate fundraising conversations about the charity partner’s mission and impact.
- Respond to questions clearly and confidently.
- Collect and record donor details while following data protection rules.
- Work towards individual and team fundraising targets.
- Follow ethical fundraising standards at all times.
- Take part in regular training and mentoring to strengthen performance.
- Work closely with colleagues and managers to support team success.
- Maintain a professional appearance and help create a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
