Role Overview
As an External Auditor, you will conduct external audits, evaluate financial statements, and ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. You will analyze and address complex business issues through effective strategies, work collaboratively in team environments, and uphold high ethical standards to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full-cycle external audits and assess financial statements for compliance and accuracy.
- Identify and address complex financial and operational challenges through strategic analysis.
- Collaborate actively within teams to foster innovation and contribute to audit strategy development.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethical leadership to build confidence amongst clients and partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading comprehensive audits and producing statutory reports for large private and publicly listed companies.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and proficiency in developing financial audit methods and strategies with cross-functional groups.
- In-depth understanding of internal control frameworks, including their assessment, design, and documentation.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and cultivating strong internal relationships.

Additional Information
The minimum base salary for a Senior Associate role is AUD 89,000 inclusive of superannuation, with higher positions compensated above this according to internal pay bands.
