Role Overview
We seek an Operations Executive to manage and optimize daily operations ensuring efficiency and alignment with SmartQ's strategic objectives. The role demands expertise in vendor management, facilitating client and team communication, and proactive problem resolution to support our fast-growing food and technology business.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate the SmartQ digital platform by effectively communicating the advantages and conveniences of the ordering app, including ongoing promotional offers.
- Guide and assist users in downloading and using the app; support customers without the app in placing orders and completing digital payments.
- Collaborate daily with food partners to refresh menu items and coordinate with the tech team for real-time app updates, including notifications and banners.
- Conduct regular hygiene inspections of cafes, perform timely governance audits, and promptly respond to any issues; report incidents, near misses, or accidents as needed.
- Maintain a positive workplace atmosphere and ensure reliable, quality service; gather and analyze feedback from staff and customers in cafeteria settings.
- Enforce company and legal requirements for service areas, ensuring cafeteria counters comply with established standard operating procedures.
- Monitor work areas during and post-shift to oversee proper waste management; maintain records related to health, safety, environment, and temperature logs while reporting anomalies.
- Ensure all equipment is operated per safety guidelines and communicate any equipment downtime to relevant departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of relevant professional experience in operations or hospitality.
- Graduate or diploma holder in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Committed to delivering excellent service with strong communication skills in English and the local language.
- Basic computing proficiency, strong eagerness to learn, and embodiment of honesty and integrity.
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership capability to manage food partner staff, driven by self-motivation and proactive initiative.
- Adaptable and open to undertaking diverse tasks to support team objectives.
