About the Opportunity
A rapidly expanding, venture-funded technology company is experiencing a phase of commercial growth and seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to partner closely with the CEO. The role involves providing structure, organization, and proactive support in a dynamic executive environment. This hands-on position demands being a trusted operational associate who manages executive administration and communication independently while fostering strong in-person collaboration.
This engagement starts as a contract with potential for extension depending on business demands.
Key Details
- Location: Central London office (initially)
- Start Date: Expected August 2026
- Working Hours: Approximately 150 hours monthly
- Time Zone: GMT
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor, with possibility to become permanent
Primary Responsibilities
- Fully manage the executive's email inbox by organizing, prioritizing, and responding as appropriate
- Oversee a dynamic calendar; schedule meetings and safeguard executive time
- Prepare weekly priorities, meeting agendas, and briefing documents
- Handle professional communications on the executive's behalf
- Support outreach and sales engagement efforts via LinkedIn
- Coordinate travel plans, meetings, and related logistics
- Ensure follow-up on tasks to prevent any oversight
- Deliver high-quality administrative assistance across business functions
- Build a strong, trusted partnership with the CEO through regular, in-person collaboration
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience supporting founders, CEOs, or senior leaders as an Executive Assistant
- A committed career Executive Assistant who thrives in executive administration
- Proactive ownership of responsibilities without needing constant direction
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Adept at managing high-volume email inboxes and complex scheduling conflicts
- Capable of prioritizing competing demands within a fast-paced setting
- Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Located within commuting range of Central London and willing to work on-site initially
- Comfortable working during GMT business hours
