The Business Support teams are crucial in maintaining the platform's comprehensive operations including market access, data, computing, risk management, compliance, and business services, collectively enabling trading and engineering teams to excel. Key Responsibilities
- Execute pricing and trading of leveraged and unleveraged ETFs in the Japanese and Hong Kong markets.
- Continuously monitor ETF fair value, tracking deviations, and identify arbitrage opportunities across both primary and secondary markets.
- Create and maintain performance, risk, and operational health reports, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
- Oversee ETF lifecycle events such as index rebalances, corporate actions, and dividend adjustments.
- Work collaboratively with quantitative researchers to enhance and scale trading strategies.
- Analyze market structures, liquidity patterns, and exchange-specific characteristics to optimize trade execution quality.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree in quantitative or technical fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing Japan ETF flows.
- In-depth knowledge of ETF operations including primary and secondary market interactions, creation and redemption mechanisms, and arbitrage processes.
- Familiarity with index methodologies (including rebalancing and constituent adjustments) and corporate actions such as dividends and stock splits.
- Comprehensive understanding of market microstructure and trading intricacies throughout APAC regions.
- Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability to operate independently.
- Highly motivated, inquisitive, and able to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with traders, quantitative analysts, and engineers.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including Python, SQL, and Bash.
