Position Overview

Deutsche Bank is seeking an Equity Derivatives Trader to join their London team at the Vice President level. This role involves taking ownership of the trading book by managing pricing, trading, and risk management of equity derivatives. The trader will collaborate closely with colleagues from trading, sales, structuring, research, and control functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in market making and actively manage risk related to equity derivatives.
• Deliver liquidity and recycle risk profitably while expanding the Equity Derivatives Franchise.
• Analyze market structure to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage financial and non-financial risks effectively.
• Collaborate with clients, sales, and internal teams including traders, coverage, and structuring to enhance market transparency and generate new business opportunities.
• Build and sustain a robust business and market share.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience utilizing AI tools to boost productivity, optimize workflows, and solve business challenges, with a commitment to responsible and ethical use of AI and data.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the equity derivatives asset class.
• Demonstrated history of generating revenue and maintaining high-quality market share.
• Strong risk management capabilities.
• Highly developed quantitative skills.
