Job Overview
We are looking for a committed and practical Equipment Technician to join our team at the Broadcom Senoko wafer fabrication facility in Singapore. This role involves frontline maintenance, repair, and support of high-volume manufacturing tools to ensure minimal equipment downtime and consistent production quality.
Primary Duties
- Conduct routine autonomous preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on production machinery.
- Handle gas cylinder replacements and chemical etching procedures on components.
- Diagnose and fix equipment malfunctions promptly to resume full operation.
- Support engineering efforts in installing and qualifying new machinery and production processes.
- Perform daily inspections, monitor equipment performance, and report any issues affecting production safety or output.
- Participate actively as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Manage inventory and control of spare parts.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Nitec or Higher Nitec certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Have previous experience as a technician or in a related equipment maintenance capacity, ideally within semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing settings.
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities combined with hands-on troubleshooting expertise.
