Entry Level Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Entry Level Business Analyst to join our expanding team in Sydney, Australia. This position is available as full-time or part-time and offers a great opportunity to gain practical experience in business analysis, enhancing your analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Examine business workflows and processes to find areas for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, process documentation, and business case development.
• Support project teams by analyzing requirements, testing, and facilitating implementation phases.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Track project progress and maintain precise documentation throughout.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing and aid during system deployments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and critical evaluation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic understanding of business processes and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as cooperatively within teams.
• Keen interest and enthusiasm to develop a career in business analysis.
• Preferred: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Having internship experience, academic projects, or prior exposure to business analysis or administration is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Jira, or project management software is a plus.

Additional Details
