Role Summary
This is a part-time remote opportunity for an English Specialist. The selected person will support language assessment work for a client by reviewing English proficiency tasks completed by non-native speakers.
What You’ll Do
- Assess written and spoken English responses to determine proficiency levels.
- Apply the provided scoring rules and evaluation rubrics consistently.
- Write clear, reliable feedback on language performance.
- Record assessment outcomes accurately for quality checks and audit purposes.
- Work within deadlines while keeping all assessment content confidential.
Required Profile
- Native-level or near-native command of English is required.
- Experience in language testing, teaching, or a related area is preferred.
- You should be comfortable following detailed evaluation instructions and standards.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills are needed.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as CEFR will be considered an advantage.
