Role overview
English 1 is hiring a motivated English as a Second Language teacher to work overseas and grow within an international education environment. This opportunity is aimed at experienced ESL teachers as well as educators from other backgrounds who are ready to expand their careers, gain cross-cultural exposure, and contribute to student learning in China.
What you will teach and do
- Deliver English lessons to children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 in lively, interactive classrooms.
- Use English 1’s structured curriculum and digital teaching resources to create engaging classes.
- Monitor learner progress and give constructive feedback that helps students improve.
- Take part in school functions, cultural initiatives, and community-based activities.
Compensation and benefits
- A competitive salary with a performance bonus available after 6 months.

Additional notes

Candidate profile
- You should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- A current passport is required.
- You should be genuinely interested in education, travel, and cultural exchange.
- Having TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is an advantage, and sponsorship may be available.
- A clean background check is mandatory.
