Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain scalable, high-performing backend systems.
• Develop microservices-based architectures using .NET Core technology.
• Create and enhance RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with frontend systems and external services.
• Manage data storage and retrieval using both SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL options (MongoDB, Redis).
• Implement robust authentication and authorization protocols, leveraging OAuth, JWT, encryption, and API security standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to oversee CI/CD pipelines, manage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and facilitate cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensure systems meet rigorous standards of scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Utilize event-driven architectures by working with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold best coding practices throughout the team.
• Remain current with the latest developments in backend technologies and frameworks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency with .NET Core development framework.
• Solid background in microservices architecture and distributed systems engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of both relational and non-relational database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes alongside major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Practical exposure to messaging and event streaming platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Comprehensive understanding of API security, authentication strategies, and system performance enhancement.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Experience designing systems for scalability and high availability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior team members effectively.
