About the Role

The Pega Government Industry Market team is a crucial segment within Pega’s Industry Markets organization, focused on accelerating digital transformation in the public sector. This global team, composed of government experts and former public sector leaders, works to meet regional objectives while shaping global solutions. Operating primarily across Germany and the Netherlands with a remote working arrangement, the role involves up to 30% travel, requiring proximity to an international airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, prospects, sales teams, solution consultants, and partners to develop and execute the EMEA government industry market strategy, serving as an industry thought leader for Pega.
• Lead initiatives in thought leadership, sales enablement, and marketing by creating industry-specific content, managing events, engaging on social media, authoring blogs, and optimizing product positioning and market-facing materials.
• Serve as a trusted consultant focused on workflow automation and modernization, supporting clients and partners throughout their digital transformation journeys.
• Design regional go-to-market strategies and scalable global solutions centered on communication, customer service, and intelligent process automation.
• Partner with product and solution teams to develop persuasive demonstrations by defining user personas, customer journeys, and practical use cases.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines creativity and strategic business and technical thinking with strong leadership capabilities suitable for managing in a matrix environment. Attention to detail is critical for producing polished outcomes. Comprehensive knowledge of software delivery, compliance, and procurement frameworks within the EU government sector is necessary to translate expertise into valuable market strategies and to drive Pega’s presence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; a postgraduate degree in business is preferable.
• Significant experience as a senior government leader or consulting head, notably in driving digital transformation strategies tailored to government institutions.
• Experience in both systems integration/advisory roles and public service is highly valued.
• Familiarity with process automation, CRM, and digital transformation initiatives across various communications sectors is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and at least two of the following languages: Dutch, German, French.
