Role Overview

The ELV Technician role is a full-time position based on site in Doha. The primary responsibilities involve installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling. Technicians are expected to interpret technical drawings, perform cable terminations, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Coordination with engineers and project supervisors, preparation of basic installation documentation, and support in both preventive and corrective maintenance are integral to this role. Maintaining tools and complying with company policies to contribute to timely project completion are also required.

Qualifications and Candidate Requirements

• Proficient technical capabilities in installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and related equipment.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and project documents with precision.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in ELV equipment and cabling infrastructure.
• Possession of a valid Qatar Driving License.
• Knowledge of electrical and low-voltage safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Skillful in the use of hand tools, testing instruments, and measurement devices relevant to ELV installations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work jointly with engineers, supervisors, and site teams.
• Minimum educational qualification: diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines; ELV-specific certifications are advantageous.
• Prior experience on ELV projects within Qatar or the GCC region is favored, with an understanding of local regulations and client expectations.
• Capability and willingness to work on-site in Doha, adapt to diverse project timelines, and perform physical tasks in various environments.
• Preference for Indian candidates currently residing in Qatar with local transfer eligibility (valid Qatar ID and NOC required).
