Electrical Technician

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Electrical Technician to support warehouse operations by keeping electrical assets and building systems running safely and efficiently. This position focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, quick fault resolution, and reducing equipment downtime to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify electrical issues in equipment and facility systems and carry out effective repairs.
• Check, troubleshoot, and service motors, control panels, wiring, and related electrical components.
• Handle maintenance calls and breakdowns in a timely manner to restore operations quickly.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Examine electrical panels, cabling, and equipment to ensure proper condition and performance.
• Replace damaged or faulty parts and verify that systems are functioning correctly after repairs.
• Work in line with electrical safety rules and HSE requirements at all times.
• Use the correct tools, testing instruments, and PPE while performing work.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Contribute to facility upgrades, expansion work, and improvement initiatives.
• Keep maintenance logs, reports, and work orders accurate and up to date.
• Escalate repeated faults and suggest practical corrective measures and improvements.

Requirements

• A diploma in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or an equivalent discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance.
• Background in warehouses, logistics sites, industrial settings, or commercial buildings is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, motors, control panels, wiring, and fault diagnosis.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance methods.
• Clear awareness of electrical safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Having a valid electrical certification or trade license is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of the Warehouse Operations team and is aimed at ensuring operational continuity, reliable equipment performance, and minimal disruption to business activities.
