Role overview
This position focuses on protecting stores and distribution centers through daily surveillance, incident handling, and loss-prevention support. The role suits a dependable professional with strong integrity and practical experience in frontline operations who wants to grow in security and loss prevention.
Key responsibilities
- Keep a close watch on store and distribution center areas through scheduled patrols and CCTV monitoring to spot unusual activity or safety concerns.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence that discourages theft and breaches of company rules.
- Check that security systems such as cameras and alarms are operating properly and escalate any faults.
- Act quickly when security or safety incidents occur, including theft, accidents, or similar events.
- Document daily activities and incidents clearly and accurately.
- Secure evidence and support the SLP Manager with early-stage investigations when required.
- Carry out regular compliance checks to confirm staff are following security and safety procedures.
- Use basic record-keeping and analysis skills to track security inspections, audits, and incident trends.
- Support periodic stock counts and operational audits to help identify shrinkage sources.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, and professional ethics.
- Ability to keep records and perform basic analysis for monitoring tools, logs, and simple patterns.
- Sharp observation and strong attention to detail.
- Good spoken and written communication in Arabic and English.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods.
