Job Overview and Responsibilities
The position involves performing routine preventive maintenance on various electrical systems such as Indoor Small Cells (IBS), WiFi devices, and UBR units (P2P/P2MP). Responsibilities include ensuring the reliable operation and cleanliness of equipment including batteries, SMPS, electrical panels, energy meters, and power systems; testing security alarm systems and ensuring alarm connectivity to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
The candidate will also maintain components such as Small Cells, L2 Switches, UBR devices of all types, WiFi units by inspecting power cables, CIPRI cables, GPS connectors, antennas, and line-of-sight alignment.
Maintenance duties extend to SMPS, requiring tasks such as cleaning rectifier ventilation, verifying LVD (Low Voltage Disconnect) and BLVD (Battery Low Voltage Disconnect) settings, monitoring parameters via NOC screens, and conducting hardware replacements including rectifiers, controllers, and communications modules.
Battery upkeep involves conducting discharge tests, monitoring voltage and abnormal temperature conditions, and verifying earthing and power connections. Earthing systems require careful measuring and maintenance of earth pits, voltage recording between neutral and earth, and confirming proper bonding at all site points. Overall site hygiene is also an important responsibility.
Additional duties include replacing faulty cards at site with healthy spare units and bringing defective modules back to the CMP (Central Maintenance Point). The role also entails assisting with data provision for consumption booking in SAP and collaborating with NOC engineers as needed.

The candidate must be proficient with basic Microsoft Office tools to manage related documentation and reporting tasks.
