Role Overview

Join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming the experience of design in education. This 12-month full-time contract focuses on building and maintaining impactful partnerships with schools, academies, local governments, and ministries of education across the MENA region. The position emphasizes a passion for education and helping educators integrate design tools effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire school onboarding lifecycle including strategy development, prospecting, planning, execution, and performance evaluation within specific districts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with regional education administrators and key decision-makers, providing technical support, onboarding assistance, teacher development resources, and strategic guidance to enhance user adoption.
  • Act as a representative and advocate for Canva Education among teachers and educational professionals.
  • Drive a stable and predictable business model aligned with a mutually agreed customer transformation strategy that prioritizes educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Education Community team to maintain a deep understanding of user needs and support educators effectively.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and refine sales and account management strategies. Share insights with Sales & Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Promote user retention and engagement by continuously testing and optimizing lifecycle approaches within target districts to deepen relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new high-value district customers to expand Canva’s presence in the education sector through lead sourcing and deal closure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the K-12 education sector and classroom productivity solutions, with the ability to communicate how Canva facilitates improved student learning through design and collaboration.
  • Experience selling or supporting the adoption of educational software, complemented by practical knowledge in teaching or instructional technology design.
  • Insight into system-wide technology rollouts within school settings.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, comfortable working remotely and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven business planning capabilities from strategy through implementation to project completion.
  • Background in community management and familiarity with social media best practices for education-focused audiences.
