Role Summary
Allan_Cyber is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Education Consultant / Learning & Development Specialist to create, develop, and deliver impactful learning solutions aimed at boosting personal and organizational performance. This position emphasizes strategies for learning, instructional design, effective training delivery, performance enhancement, and educational consultation. The right candidate will have a passion for adult education, professional growth, and crafting engaging learning experiences to support ongoing development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement various learning programs, training documentation, and educational tools.
- Perform learning needs analyses to identify skill shortages within teams or organizations.
- Create diverse learning formats including instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-directed courses.
- Produce instructional materials such as presentations, e-learning modules, guides, assessments, and support aids.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, webinars, and professional development activities.
- Assess learning effectiveness through various techniques including feedback, performance metrics, and data evaluation.
- Work alongside business leaders, subject experts, and stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives align with company objectives.
- Assist with onboarding, leadership training, career advancement, and continuous learning efforts.
- Oversee the learning management system (LMS), maintain training resources, and ensure accessibility.
- Research and incorporate new learning technologies and instructional methods following industry best practices.
- Offer educational consulting with recommendations to enhance learning strategies and workforce skills.
- Track participation, engagement, and outcomes of training programs.
- Guarantee all learning content meets accuracy, inclusivity, and quality standards.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in learning processes and training impact.
- Encourage a culture promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and lifelong education.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design frameworks, and training methodologies.
- Experienced with learning and development approaches, competency models, and performance improvement techniques.
- Skilled in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Proficient in creating engaging presentations, e-learning content, and instructional materials.
- Understanding of learning evaluation models and ability to measure performance outcomes.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to convey concepts clearly.
- Exceptional organizational and project management proficiency.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Experienced collaborating within cross-functional teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and common content creation or learning development software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
