About the Role
Join Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand as an eCommerce Operations Specialist based in Tauranga. Become part of a dynamic team within a business that serves three million Kiwis weekly through 185 stores and 20,000 team members nationwide. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain process flows for your designated workstream to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Collaborate closely with your Team Leader and support your workgroup to maximize effectiveness.
- Guarantee consistent completion of processes adhering strictly to company guidelines.
- Manage order fulfillment ensuring timely, accurate picking and uphold fresh food quality standards.
- Lead your team by providing on-the-job training, coaching, and assume acting store manager duties on assigned shifts.
- Identify and report operational challenges promptly to the Function Lead for resolution.
- Advocate for workplace safety by following protocols, reporting hazards, and prioritizing wellbeing.
- Engage actively in team communication and contribute to a positive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong expertise in process excellence coupled with a desire for ongoing learning and improvement.
- Ability to build and sustain effective collaborative relationships across departments.
- Proven leadership skills with experience delegating tasks, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and motivating team members.
- High compliance knowledge and exceptional communication skills to clarify responsibilities and standards.
- Consistent behavior aligned with company values.
- Availability to work at least four weekend shifts per month and a minimum of one evening each week.

- Monday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Sunday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
