Position Overview
OneSchool Global NZ's Gisborne Campus seeks a committed full-time, permanent Earth and Space Science Teacher to join its educational team. This role is open to local applicants or those willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compelling Earth and Space Science lessons aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA standards. Facilitate scientific inquiry and investigations to foster student understanding. Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement and success in assessments and future pursuits. Teach students both face-to-face and through virtual platforms like Zoom, reaching multiple campuses across the country.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants need proven experience teaching Earth and Space Science in New Zealand, ideally with NCEA Level 2 and 3 familiarity. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory.
