Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Driver to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of guests, team members, and hotel property. Your role includes providing excellent customer service, conducting vehicle maintenance checks, and adhering to all traffic laws and Hilton standards.

Key Duties

• Deliver exceptional service to guests and colleagues with a positive and professional attitude.
• Safely operate hotel vehicles while following all traffic rules and hotel policies.
• Assist guests with their luggage during arrivals and departures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of assigned vehicles.
• Perform daily inspections on vehicles and promptly report any issues to the Safety and Security Manager.
• Ensure all vehicle documents such as licenses and insurance are current and accessible.
• Keep detailed logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Provide timely airport transfers and local transport services as scheduled.
• Share relevant local and hotel information with guests when appropriate.
• Safeguard guest confidentiality and report any security concerns encountered during duties.
• Support emergency procedures and coordinate with hotel departments.
• Dress and groom professionally in line with Hilton standards at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean record.
• At least three years of professional driving experience, preferably within hospitality or luxury service sectors.
• Strong familiarity with Lagos area roads and traffic regulations.
• Valid medical fitness certificate for driving duties.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills; additional local languages are a plus.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in emergencies.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify mechanical issues.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of working independently.
