Dispatch Rider

Overview

This position is for a full-time, on-site Dispatch Rider based in Abuja. The primary duty is to collect and deliver packages, documents, and other items to assigned locations promptly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently within Abuja.
• Verify delivery addresses and obtain confirmation upon delivery.
• Keep detailed records of deliveries and maintain logs.
• Ensure assigned motorcycle remains in good operating condition through routine checks.
• Observe traffic laws and safety standards consistently.
• Provide courteous and professional service to clients.
• Report any incidents, delays, or route problems to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams to support smooth delivery processes.

Required Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of road networks within Abuja and route planning skills.
• Valid motorcycle license with proven experience in dispatch or similar delivery roles.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Physically fit with stamina to perform daily riding and package handling tasks safely.
• Basic competency in vehicle maintenance and understanding of road safety rules.
• Dependability, punctuality, and integrity when managing packages, including sensitive documents.
• Completion of secondary education (SSCE or equivalent) is required; experience in courier or logistics sectors is an added advantage.

Compensation

The monthly net salary for this role is 100000 NGN.
