Director, Private Banking

Role Overview

As the Director of Private Banking at Mashreq in Qatar, you will be instrumental in maximizing the value of our client base by delivering tailored Private Banking products and services and actively pursuing new high-net-worth (HNW) clients. This role demands strong communication skills to advise clients according to their financial needs and the ability to collaborate with other banking professionals to serve complex client requirements while enhancing bank revenues.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the profitability of the Private Banking portfolio by offering competitive investment solutions and countering competition.
• Protect the bank from losses related to fraud and anti-money laundering issues by maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Uphold the bank’s reputation by adhering to professional ethical conduct before, during, and after sales engagements.
• Boost the bank’s market presence and brand awareness.
• Achieve targets related to revenue generation, sales, and portfolio expansion across diverse financial products including investments, term deposits, current and savings accounts (CASA), treasury cash management, forex trading, and share financing.
• Attract and onboard new HNW clients who are new to the bank.
• Deliver an outstanding client experience by anticipating potential issues and providing proactive service to minimize client attrition and maintain ongoing client engagement.
