About the Role

The Regal Brands group specializes in decorative hardware products, from vintage interior door handles to hinges and cabinet hardware, spanning various design styles and décor. Their offerings are distributed on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Wayfair, as well as through their brand websites. Currently, they are seeking a Director of Operations located in Denver, Colorado, to oversee teams responsible for warehousing, assembly, shipping, and quality assurance. The role provides a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, along with bonus opportunities and eligibility for a full benefits program including health, dental, life insurance, and 401(k).

Job Responsibilities

• Lead approximately 40 staff and three managerial roles across departments: shipping, logistics, receiving, warehousing, assembly, and quality control.
• Direct the warehouse operations team (about 20 staff and one manager) handling inventory reception, storage, order assembly, and dispatch.
• Oversee quality control, with a team of one manager and three employees inspecting incoming products from overseas to ensure defect-free inventory.
• Manage key individual contributors such as the Buyer managing inventory procurement and supplier coordination, and the Project Manager spearheading process enhancement projects.
• Own daily operational management and departmental budget control.
• Coach and develop both managers and staff.
• Drive ongoing process improvements leveraging project management resources.
• Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation tactics.
• Support new product development initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and other workplace safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles within e-commerce fulfillment, manufacturing, or related supply chain operations.
• Expertise in LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Gantt charts.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and new product introduction processes.
