Uncommon Elite is a rapidly growing professional services firm driven by advanced technology, seeking a Director of Operations to work closely with the Founder and assist in steering the firm through its upcoming phase of expansion.

Role Overview

This role goes beyond standard operations management. The ideal candidate naturally views challenges through the lens of systems thinking, excels in fostering accountability, and has a passion for constructing scalable organizations. Serving as the operational partner to an innovative founder, this position transforms conceptual ideas into actionable execution while instituting the necessary frameworks, rigor, and consistency essential for sustained development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead everyday operational activities spanning all divisions.
• Develop scalable frameworks and uniform operating procedures.
• Enhance organizational design and operational productivity.
• Guarantee steady implementation of company goals.
• Promote accountability within the leadership team.
• Assess current workflows to identify and remove inefficiencies.
• Establish and manage operational scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Advance project management processes to improve execution and transparency.
• Deploy systems that deliver consistency and predictability.
• Seek opportunities to incorporate automation and AI to optimize business functions.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance standards and accountability.
• Ensure leaders meet their commitments and achieve measurable results.
• Foster a culture of ownership and ongoing improvement.
• Handle performance challenges tactfully and proactively.
• Lead challenging discussions with clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate directly with the Founder to set initiative priorities.
• Convert strategic vision into practical plans.
• Assure alignment across functions within the company.
• Build operational capacity to allow leadership focus on growth rather than daily management.
• Enhance client delivery and quality control procedures.
• Strengthen project oversight and customer experience standards.
• Continuously monitor operational performance metrics, addressing potential client impact issues proactively.
• Create systems that increase the company's value and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable systems within expanding entrepreneurial or founder-led environments.
• Deep understanding of operational metrics and overall business performance.
• Demonstrated success in leading organizational transformation.
• Preferred experience with EOS or comparable operating models.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• High emotional intelligence coupled with excellent judgment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation

The position offers a base salary of $140,000 annually, supplemented by a performance-based bonus.
