About the Role
Galls, LLC is a prominent supplier of uniforms and equipment to public safety professionals, operating nationally with more than 80 locations and over 50 years of industry experience. This role is for a Director of eCommerce focused on the military segment, tasked with driving significant growth through strategic leadership and innovative approaches that increase revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the military eCommerce business by setting and executing aggressive growth strategies under executive guidance to achieve substantial expansion.
- Optimize the complete digital experience on military web properties, focusing on increasing average order values (AOV), conversion rates, reducing bounce rates, improving page load times, and enhancing overall customer journey and user experience (CX and UX).
- Develop and manage product roadmaps that enhance site performance and personalize customer journeys based on their behaviors and purchase histories.
- Collaborate with merchandising and inventory teams to ensure the availability of popular and profitable products, forecasting demand based on visitor interactions to guide buying decisions.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and work with vendors on strategic programs and customer-focused marketing campaigns.
- Partner with marketing leadership to identify and implement new methods to drive traffic from diverse channels, and ensure branding alignment and creative consistency across sites.
- Monitor competitor strategies to maintain competitive advantages in the market.
- Design and execute buyer-centric multi-channel marketing campaigns, including promotions, bundles, flash sales with clear goals and timelines.
- Lead cross-functional collaborative teams across merchandising, inventory, brand, and marketing to develop and implement growth initiatives throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Use advanced analytics to guide campaign strategy, execution, and optimization, reviewing performance weekly to meet or surpass targets.
- Establish a strong leadership presence supporting rapid execution and accountability for profitability, serving as a visible leader both inside and outside the organization.
- Manage and guide teams of digital and marketing professionals and agencies to achieve business objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Coordinate with finance to develop comprehensive performance reporting on all key metrics including traffic, conversion, revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA.
- Assist executive leadership in preparation and presentation for board meetings showcasing business results.
Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of experience in eCommerce and digital marketing with proven leadership capabilities, managing teams of 5+ and multiple agencies.
- Preferably a military background with a transition into eCommerce.
- Strong history of delivering measurable financial success and growth for digital businesses.
- Expertise in end-to-end digital experience management, site merchandising, and multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Data-driven mindset with robust analytical skills for strategic planning and campaign execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA highly desirable.
