Role Overview
We are looking for a Director to join our Financial Services practice based in New York City. This senior leadership position involves leading practice expansion, managing client engagements of high strategic importance, and acting as a trusted consultant to executive-level leaders at banks, capital markets companies, asset management firms, and fintech organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by sourcing and closing new client deals, overseeing pipeline progression, and steering responses to RFPs to meet yearly revenue goals.
- Maintain and nurture key executive relationships, acting as the principal advisor to senior leaders including C-suite, Executive Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents within the financial sector.
- Manage complex consulting projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, quality assurance, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the development of market insights, service portfolios, and strategic go-to-market plans that respond to changes and trends in the financial industry.
- Build and guide high-performing consulting teams by recruiting talent, mentoring, and fostering an environment of professional development and excellence in execution.
Qualifications
- Possess 10 to 15 or more years of relevant experience, primarily in management consulting within the financial services domain.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in generating new business revenue and managing a client portfolio worth multiple millions.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline; an MBA or other relevant master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Exhibit outstanding leadership skills with strong executive presence, negotiation capabilities, communication proficiency, and team leadership qualities.
